Antonina Shevchenko

Antonina Shchenko is an Kyrgyzstani Muay Thay champion. She currently competes within the UFC Flyweight division. She's older than fellow UFC Fighter and former UFC Flyweight Champion Valentina Shevchenko. Antonina Shevchenko's career in combat sports started as a Muay Thai athlete. Shevchenko debuted on the IFMA World Championship Tournament in 2003. Shevchenko took the title and then defeated Suzane Mller with a majority vote. Antonina then won an award of Silver in 2007, a bronze Medal in 2008, a Golden medal in 2011, as the IFMA Amateure 2016 Muay Tha World Champion. Antonina used her superior striking techniques and striking skills to TKO Nievera in the clinch by knees on the body. In the aftermath of this victory, Antonina was offered the chance to sign a UFC contract. Antonina made her UFC debut during the TUF Heavy Hhitters Finale against Ji Yeon Kim. Shevchenko lost to Roxanne modafferi by split decision following her debut fight. Antonina rebounded from her loss to knock out Lucie Pudilova with a back-naked choke submission during the second round of UFC on ESPN Covington Vs. Lawler. She earned the extra fight of the night for this fight. Shevchenko had a 1-2 record over her next three bouts she won over Ariane Lipski and losing to Katlyn Clarkagian and Andrea Lee.
